Prayers are poetic words of intention infused with spirit. Prayers work. You can make them up on the spur of the moment, or if you focus on the meaning of your prayer, you can write words like these, recite them aloud or silently… whenever you feel like it. Prayers don’t need to be precious, but they do need to be authentic, and preferably loving.
The prayers on this website are written by Interfaith Minister Anthea Ballam. These are prayers of the moment. They make no reference to any god and were written for everyone – believers and non-believers alike.
